Here's what the content of wad old looks like. I'm now able to view the new files from ModMii and the old files on the SD side by side. And is there a way to mod this so DVD playback is possible? If I delete them, will those games still work. Did everything you suggested.

I've been meaning to do this for some time but was afraid I'd screw something up. One thing I would do though is see what is presently in your SD card's WAD folder - that could contain stuff you may not want to reinstall. Ec this mean I can still mod it to play DVD's? I'd also remove the folders wiii your SD card called usb-loader, usb-loader1 and usbloader-gx. After work today, I'll post everything you've asked for. If you choose to follow advice from this subreddit and damage your system, it's your fault.

Thank you so much for taking the time to help me. As far as the wad files in the one I renamed wad old, do I need to move them to the new wad folder or delete them.

Probably not worth it, imo. Sorry for so many questions and thanx for any info you can provide. I'm now able to view the new files from ModMii and the old files on the SD side by side. Get an ad-free experience with special benefits, and directly support Reddit. ModMii will tell you to install all the WADs in the WAD folder but obviously you only want to do that with the ones it has downloaded, not your old WADs, which is why you need to move yours out of the way.

Hope this makes some kind of sense. Is this an issue with when my Wii was made? Once you've installed all the WADs ModMii gave you and have the new versions of your loaders pretty much all your games will work. Do the research yourself and know the risks involved.
I would hate to brick this through my own negligence. If so, how can I determine when it was made? You're all nice and tidy then with a single WADS folder which contains just two folders - one with copies of your games in it and one with the ModMii stuff should you ever want to go back to it. The center pane shows the contents of the WAD folder and the right pane shows the contents of the root. No mod will help you here, it's a hardware thing.
