This is one of the best zombie series of books out there, and I have ploughed through lots. Alexander Gordon Gordon Smith Narrated by: I can't think of a single person that I wouldn't recommend this book to. Highly recommended for teenagers and fans of Darren Shan and Anthony Horowitz. I polished the whole book off in a weekend and instantly recommend the book to my mate and his teenage son who both devour The Walking Dead TV show. I think this is even worse than that. Fantastically written and narrated in Chav language, complete with London accents, "the Enemy" boasts action, gore, and overall incredible storyline of adult-zombie-ridden London, with all the kids running free. If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be? This collection contains the first four volumes of the Scattered and the Dead series, audiobooks 0. Gone Series, Book 1. The parents and older siblings they left back at home are dead--or worse. Bought for my audiboook brother but I listened to it first. What other book might you compare The Enemy to, and why?
Of course, I found myself on more than one occasion having flashbacks to the original Lord of the Flies story and wish that some of the antagonistic behaviors some of the kids have toward one another felt more original, but it doesn't diminish the overall arc of the story and the reader's investment with the kids.
I don't really see that changing anytime soon.

Haven't listen to him before, very good performance. In fact, the only thing that seems to set him apart is the fact that he has Tourette's syndrome.

That said, I may just continue in the series, as this one is so excellent. Very gripping story Any additional comments? Day By Day Armageddon By: It was an enjoyable book in it's own right, pretty well written and very well narrated but it just stops, couldn't believe it when the narrator said 'The End'.
